Hi! My name is Krithika (she/her) and I’m a postdoctoral scholar in Bioengineering at Stanford University. My current research with Prof. Scott Delp in the Neuromuscular Biomechanics Lab focuses on using musculoskeletal modeling to identify risk factors for ACL injury. I recently received my PhD in Mechanical Engineering at the Harvard University School of Engineering and Applied Sciences for my work with Prof. Conor Walsh in the Harvard Biodesign Lab on the use of wearable robotics for gait augmentation and restoration. In particular, my work focused on using tools from biomechanics and bioinspired controls, neuromotor learning, and sensing and estimation towards improving efficacy of robotic intervention, specifically with soft exosuits. Prior to my PhD, I received a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering from MIT in 2017 and an MS in Engineering Sciences from Harvard in 2020.
My future research vision is to develop frameworks that enable individualized robotic interventions for real-world assistance and rehabilitation.
